Iragon is a VR-compatible fantasy RPG with anime aesthetics that wears its adult content plainly—but divides opinion sharply on whether it delivers on its promises. Strengths include atmospheric medieval maps, a narrative with branching choices, solid voice acting, and enough playtime to justify a sale price. However, the game's foundation is brittle: combat is two-button shallow, magic is locked per playthrough, the save system is unreliable (chapters may or may not autosave), and the translation is incomplete—dialogue switches abruptly to English mid-game. Most strikingly, players hired by a Kickstarter that promised explicit uncensored content report the final build heavily censored: sex scenes are topless only, with underwear intact, amounting to a handful of brief encounters across 5–13 hours. Reviewers split between those who bought cheaply and tolerate rough edges as "quirky charm," and those who feel misled by missing promised features and unfinished execution. The game has been patched only once since February 2024 release and shows no sign of improvement. It is playable but rough, and a competent if unambitious story does not excuse technical neglect.
