Editorial Don't bother
Incubus Rapture launches with an ambitious management-strategy framework layered over adult content, but the execution stumbles on both fronts. Players consistently report an overwhelming system bloat—eight menus with six submenus each, dense tutorials, and a grind that demands constant resource juggling (essence, vitae, succubi availability) with no clear narrative payoff. The game apes Sultan and His Harem's mechanics without improving them, leaving players stuck farming for missing ingredients they can't generate and unsure what they're grinding toward. Beyond mechanical pain, the promised "animations" are largely static text; sex scenes are described rather than shown, and AI voice-overs dominate dialogue in an uncanny, jarring way. A few early players found the dark supernatural tone appealing, but the consensus is damning: promising premise, unplayable execution, and a dev juggling three projects at once. Avoid until the core loops are drastically simplified and the foundation is solid.
