Editorial Meh
Ikisaw is a 3D adult game built in Unreal Engine 5, and that technical choice defines the community conversation almost entirely. The visuals draw genuine praise — players find the character design appealing and the game's look impressive — but the optimization is catastrophic by nearly universal agreement: reports of 5–10 FPS on hardware that should have no trouble, including modern high-end GPUs, make the game effectively unplayable for a large portion of the audience. There are also reports of a bugged gallery/locker system in the current build, and at least one player flagged a security concern with the download. As a creative work, opinions are more measured. The early game leans into harder content that gives way to more vanilla fare later on — a divide that splits players depending on their preferences, not a flaw in execution. The game has sold well on DLsite and holds a middling score there, suggesting a real audience exists; the writing and design have enough going for them to be worth attention. But until the developer addresses the severe performance issues, most players will struggle to experience any of it.
