Editorial Has potential
I Need Money is a sex game with a clear audience hook—players consistently praise the hot content and engaging premise—but it's been abandoned mid-development. The developer pivoted to 3D comics after admitting they rely entirely on AI (ChatGPT) for coding and struggle with Unity's complexity; version 4 was nearly complete when development stopped. The game suffers from real technical friction: transition stutters, no Android port despite community requests, and poor UX that players repeatedly note could be solved by using Ren'Py instead. What remains is playable and shows creative effort, but it's an incomplete story frozen at v0.3, now orphaned in favor of a slower medium the creator hopes will ship faster. For a finished game it would deserve consideration; as an abandoned build, it's a cautionary example of scope and tooling mismatch.
