Goblins Stole My Panties splits the community sharply. Defenders praise its lighthearted fantasy adventure, playable exploration, varied mini-games, and genuinely funny writing—a rare adult game that builds actual gameplay around its premise rather than just stringing scenes together. Critics dominate, however, pointing to machine-translated dialogue that kills immersion, recycled mini-games lifted from other titles, looped sex animations without proper endings, and a paper-thin story completed in under an hour. The 3D models themselves are competent, but the execution—writing quality, animation coherence, pacing—falls short of the asking price. Positive reviews often read suspiciously similar or focus heavily on the collectible/achievement angle rather than the core experience. On creative merit, the concept and humor have merit for its niche audience, but sloppy translation, borrowed mechanics, and cut-corner animation undermine the work.
