Furvival is a furry survival sandbox in active but very early development, with a developer who has recently (January–February 2024) committed to monthly updates after a long silence. The core appeal is clear—a sex-integrated survival-crafting loop with multiple fuckable characters and species—and early testers see genuine potential in the concept. However, the current build is genuinely rough: camera and attack controls conflict on the same button, weapon-switching is broken (tab doesn't alternate properly), animation positioning is awkward, and basic UX (like inventory mapping) is incomplete. The game is barebones—hit trees, pick plants, have one sex scene, repeat—and skepticism about whether a solo dev can ship a complex survival game with NSFW content is earned; several players note that porn games historically succeed by staying simple, not by attempting systemic depth. That said, the developer is present, responsive to feedback, and has posted art and roadmap items within the last few weeks, so "dead" seems premature. This is a proof-of-concept worth monitoring if you can tolerate jank, but don't expect a finished product soon.
