Editorial Has potential
Freya's Potion Shop is a short management RPG with solid creative bones—players praise the narrative economy and character work, particularly the witch subplot, as a real step up in quality for the developer. The core loop of brewing potions, managing a shop, and navigating dialogue-driven consequences is engaging and well-designed. However, the build is plagued by technical friction: file errors, missing assets, malware flags on DLLs, broken potion effects (Magic Up doesn't work), unfinished areas (climbable vines leading nowhere), and a UI that hides key features (the gallery is on the title screen with no hint). Many players also hit dead ends looking for content that the game claims exists. For a completed release, this is rougher than it should be—the creative vision shines through, but the execution needs polish.
