Fissure Divers: Maleena's Corruption is an early-stage VN with a premise that excites its small community — debt, corruption, and minigame-driven progression — but the current build is held back by both design friction and technical instability. The bar minigame and combat system have conceptual merit but suffer from poor balancing (lust climbs too fast at high corruption, hit chances are opaque) and annoying bugs (freezes during work, save-reload exploits, game-overs triggering unexpectedly or due to unclear quest requirements). Feedback is sparse and mostly technical; players seem invested in the game's potential but frustrated by unfinished execution. Corruption gain/loss feels poorly paced, and several reviewers report progression walls caused by obscure item-delivery requirements or state bugs. The roadmap mentions new H-content and combat tuning, but right now it reads as a promising prototype that needs stabilization more than it needs new scenes.
