Editorial Has potential
Fever House presents a promising visual novel with strong character renders and genuinely engaging narrative that hooks players early—Elena and Diana's designs are standouts, and the writing knows exactly when to wink at its audience. The premise (a non-family landlady, no NTR) sidesteps tired tropes, and players consistently praise the MC's characterization and emotional writing, though some find his shy demeanor a bit overdone. The main weakness is technical: the choice to build in Unity instead of Ren'Py has created unnecessary friction. Save/load bugs occur when rolling back from choice points, out-of-context images pop up mid-narrative, UI/UX lacks standard VN hotkeys (right-click menu, key bindings), and text readability suffers in some scenes. The dev acknowledges these issues and plans fixes, but they chip away at an otherwise polished creative foundation. At 450MB, this is early (v0.1 covers roughly a third of the planned story), so patience is warranted—but the core game is there.
