Editorial Meh
Femboy Squad presents a spy-comedy premise with genuine writing wit and appealing character designs, but arrives half-baked and contradictory. The core confusion—whether the four "wives" are actual love interests or just a comedic cover for a straight MC pursuing female targets on the island—remains unresolved after v0.1, and the developer has done little to clarify intent, leaving players to argue past each other. The sandbox exploration is clunky (click blindly until something happens), and the technical execution is competent but minimal. The real liability is creative incoherence: marketing emphasizes a femboy harem while the game itself shows no sexual interest from the MC toward them, the story allows the wives to "use their ass" with outsiders while claiming no NTR, and reviewers split sharply on whether this is a bait-and-switch or simply poor communication. If the dev commits to a clear direction in the next update, the writing and humor suggest potential; until then, it reads as a project that needed more time before release.
