Feathers from Paradise of Migratory Birds

Watari Dori no Rakuen 2.0 is a fully illustrated remake and scenario revision of a free visual novel originally released three years ago. The game follows Nanase Iroha, a protagonist born without a defined biological sex, navigating adolescence as emotions shift between romantic love and friendship. The narrative centers on Iroha's complicated feelings for childhood friend Midou Yukari and the unexpected arrival of classmate Kaguraza Momoka. The sequel, Hane wo Kuumuu from Watari Dori no Rakuen, presents an alternate-world version of the protagonist named Kurose Iroha, exploring themes of loss, despair, and recovery of voice—both literal and figurative. After a tragic suicide attempt and recovery, Kurose Iroha navigates relationships with adoptive father Rei, his boyfriend Ayato, and others while working in the sex industry, gradually losing the ability to communicate. Both works are character-driven ADVs dealing with identity, coming-of-age, and emotional trauma.
