Editorial Meh
Evil House has an appealing premise and solid character art, but the core gameplay is nearly universally panned as broken and unplayable. The mini-game mechanics—particularly the slider bars for evasion and sexual "combat"—are erratic, unresponsive, and feel deliberately rigged against the player; the succubus chase is relentless with almost no breathing room, and timers are too tight to read story content. Community consensus is clear: the game needs an easy/story mode, serious rebalancing, and UI decluttering before it's worth engaging with. Praise goes to the visuals and premise, but frustration with inaccessible gameplay dominates every recent review.
