Editorial Has potential
Everyday Life with Mother! is a completed love-life RPG that delivers on its core appeal: players consistently praise the game content itself, with users reporting they "finished the game" and called it "a good fap." The creative work lands for its audience. However, the build is rough around the edges. The game is in Japanese with community-patched translations (official translation still pending), and Windows/JoyPlay users report recurring combat bugs—particularly a crash loop when fighting mobs a second time that forces restart, solvable only by save-and-reload workarounds. Installation is also a pain point: multiple users struggled with folder placement until the community provided manual override steps. These are not deal-breakers for determined players, but they're real friction. If you're willing to work around UI quirks and can tolerate some Japanese, the game itself is worth the effort; if you want a frictionless experience, wait for the official translation and patches.
