Evenicle 2 is a competent but derivative sequel that plays it safe with the formula. It delivers the same turn-based RPG structure, overworld exploration, and adult comedy narrative as the original, with improved UI and voice acting—and for a free demo, it's a solid introduction. However, most players who finished the full game prefer the original: the writing, humor, and character depth don't match the first Evenicle, the story repeats its predecessor's structure beat-for-beat, and heavy dialogue segments can feel padded. The Steam release is censored (a real frustration for players), and the full game is unavailable on Steam itself, forcing purchase elsewhere.
