Editorial Meh
Entangled Floors drops players mid-story with no introduction to characters or their relationships, leaving the narrative confusing and immersive setup broken. Choices are largely illusory—selecting "no" to holding hands still results in scenes depicting hand-holding; refusing to go to the roof doesn't prevent it. The writing itself shows promise (players note charming character moments, like Rina's jealousy), but the game structure undermines it. Technical issues compound the problem: a critical crash when accessing preferences before starting, abrupt no-warning jumps back to menu at content's end, and poor text readability on bright backgrounds. The build is unstable and unfinished; the narrative design needs rethinking from the ground up. Players are also divided on missing tags—content listed in the catalog isn't present in the current version.
