Editorial Has potential
Elf Lifia is a deck-building dungeon crawler in the Slay the Spire mould, wrapped in RPG Maker's notoriously clunky UI. Community consensus is that the core gameplay loop is engaging—players appreciate the 4-ending structure tied to a corruption mechanic and enjoy unlocking CG galleries post-victory—but the interface makes every turn laborious: double-taps to confirm actions, target confirmation steps, and limited visibility ahead bog down what should be snappy tactical play. The build is rough. Multiple users hit crashes on launch (black screen mid-play, authentication errors, Joiplay incompatibility), and while community fixes circulate, the need for player-supplied patches and file edits to reach basic stability is a red flag. For those who persevere, the game delivers; for many, technical friction will exhaust patience before the deck-building hooks in.
