Editorial Has potential
Donna is a wholesome visual novel about caring for a dog-girl character, built around stat management and story choices. The art is charming and the core premise appeals to its audience—players praise the cute aesthetic, emotional beats, and the effort to blend romance with narrative depth. However, the game suffers from significant translation issues (pronoun errors, unclear dialogue) that muddy the experience, and the stat system is opaque enough that players struggle to unlock content; several report grinding multiple times without reaching the love threshold needed for the intimate scene. The game is still in active development (version 3.0, with 4.0 promised), so some roughness is expected, but the English localization needs polishing before it feels finished.
