Editorial Has potential
Don't Catch That Baby! is a quirky game-show concept with genuine charm and clear creative direction. Players appreciate the humor, the competitive multiplayer framing, and the developer's visible improvement across recent updates. However, the build is severely hampered by optimization and control issues: multiple reviewers report launch crashes, infinite loading loops, unplayable frame rates during key sequences (especially the obstacle course), and unresponsive jumping mechanics. The low-poly art style divides opinion—some find it endearingly goofy, others find it grating—but that's a matter of taste rather than execution. The core problem is technical: the game is difficult to play as currently built, with several players unable to launch it at all. If optimization and controls are fixed, the creative concept has enough personality to reward the effort.
