Editorial Has potential
Domino Gotico is a strip-poker-style domino game with strong character art and an appealing gothic atmosphere that has won genuine affection from players who've looked past its rough edges. The core appeal — high-stakes dominoes with humorous and occasionally unsettling consequences — lands well enough to leave players wanting more, and the visual presentation and character charm are consistently praised. However, the game is held back significantly by confusing, poorly-explained controls that mix keyboard, mouse, and gamepad inputs without clear separation, creating a steep learning curve that frustrates players before they can enjoy the actual game. Slow loading times and occasional bugs (missing UI elements on restart, inconsistent key responses) compound this problem. The build feels mid-development: promising creative work, but the interface and technical polish need real work before it's comfortable to recommend.
