Devil Layer

Editorial Has potential

Devil Layer is a Chainsaw Man parody VN that hits the mark for fans of the source material looking for adult content. Players praise the writing and character work—even those unfamiliar with the manga found it an enjoyable read—and appreciate the game's early promise. However, the build is currently rough: multiple download links are broken or mislabeled (Mac and Android icons reversed), installation errors plague Windows and Android users ("slice bounds out of range," extraction loop issues), and progress-blocking bugs trap players in early segments. While the creative vision is sound, technical friction and incomplete content (v0.5–v0.6 mid-development, missing promised scenes) make this a wait-and-see proposition until the build stabilizes.
