Editorial Meh
Daggan is a stylish base-builder with real-time strategy elements and furry NSFW content—a niche blend that works better in concept than execution. The game offers 2–3 hours of content per run, with a neat art direction and an interesting core loop of building, resource-gathering, and defending against waves of enemies. However, it suffers from significant design and technical problems: no save function forces a single 2-hour sitting, a hard population cap of 20 feels restrictive even late-game, and skill trees become trivial once unlocked. The NSFW content, despite being the draw for some, consists of only ~5 looped animations that often interrupt gameplay rather than reward it. Most critically, the game has been abandoned for years with no updates, and recent players report optimization issues (GPU spikes, FPS drops) that weren't present earlier. Community opinion is divided: some find genuine enjoyment in the 2–3-hour grind and forgive the rough edges; others see an unfinished, overpriced project that was left to rot. On merit alone, the creative concept and art style have appeal for its niche audience—but the incomplete state, missing QoL features, and lack of post-launch support make it a hard sell except at deep discount.
