Editorial Meh
Cursed Armor 2 is a substantial adult RPG with considerable production value—extensive CG galleries, multiple story routes, and a real-time combat system that marks a clear technical upgrade from the first game. Players consistently praise the art quality, volume of content (40+ hours for committed players), and the developers' responsiveness to feedback. However, the game stumbles significantly in execution: the quest guidance is vague and often unclear, leaving players stuck without warning; the combat system is awkwardly balanced and punishing; and most divisively, the main character's intelligence drops dramatically in sexual scenarios, which many find immersion-breaking rather than erotic. The narrative also relies heavily on callbacks to the first game and sudden plot reversals that frustrate rather than intrigue. Repetitive grinding of numerical stats, forced multi-playthroughs for the true ending, and confusing progression gates mean the game's ambition often works against enjoyment. For players willing to consult guides and tolerate obtuse design, there is a crafted world here worth exploring; for others, the friction will outweigh the reward.
