Editorial Meh
Crush Corp is a giantess-fetish sandbox with Arena and character performance content, but the project is in serious trouble. The most recent build (v0.21b) ships with numerous unresolved bugs—broken physics on the dumpster, a softlock in Emi's intro, crouch toggling incorrectly, missing spawns, shader mismatches, and severe frame drops—that collectively make it feel unfinished despite months of claimed development. Community frustration centers on two compounding problems: the developer's erratic timeline (missing every announced deadline for over a year, with stretched gaps between minor updates despite steady Patreon income) and a visible gap between promised and delivered content (Emi's full "performance review" interaction remains unimplemented; many features are animations only, not functional gameplay). A detailed technical review documents that old systems are still broken while new ones are layered on top, worsening stability. The Arena animations are widely praised as high-quality, but their polish throws the rest of the game's roughness into sharp relief. Some players prefer the Arena direction; others came for Emi and feel sidelined. Asset-reuse disputes have also surfaced (VRChat models used without clear initial credit). For supporters: the foundation and art talent exist, but execution and accountability are severely lacking.
