Editorial Has potential
Cross Worlds is an in-development supernatural romance and mind-control RPG with strong art direction and genuinely thoughtful mechanical design. The writing is considered above-average for the genre, character designs are distinctive, and the core systems—relationship progression, stat training, corruption mechanics—show real polish and ambition. However, the game is actively unfinished: the main story is incomplete, content for several characters is still being reworked, and many players report progression bottlenecks, scene-triggering logic errors (sexual encounters firing before narrative setup makes sense), and character-specific bugs. The corruption system in particular is mid-overhaul, leaving some characters' training disabled or unrewarding. Community sentiment is patient and largely supportive—players credit the developer for consistent monthly updates and free availability—but frustration runs consistent: grindy progression gates, missing or broken features, and save-incompatibility issues on version jumps. On PC it runs adequately; Android builds have platform-specific crashes and incompatibilities (notably Pixel 7+). For an audience willing to revisit as content lands, the bones are strong enough to recommend; those seeking a complete, stable experience should wait.
