Description
Corpo Life 2 is a life-simulation game set in contemporary Tokyo. You are a transfer student turned salaryman, married to Remu, the class president who abandoned her family's traditions to marry you against her father's wishes. The game follows your dual struggle to build a career at Mitsuba United Bank while maintaining your marriage and your shared convenience store business in Nakano.
The core mechanic revolves around choices and information asymmetry: each character—your wife, your mentor Rino, your coworker Mary—tracks only what they actually know about you, learned through direct experience. Your office promotion is discovered through the personnel board; your wife learns of it only when you bring the letter home. As you climb the corporate ladder, the game explores the cost of ambition: longer hours at the tower, an apartment that shrinks in your daily life, and Remu's unspoken mathematics at the register, calculating how far you'll climb before home becomes merely a place you visit.
The game is a sandbox-style narrative experience with branching outcomes determined by your decisions over time. Themes include marriage, infidelity temptation, workplace dynamics, and the central question of what you are willing to sacrifice for success.
