Editorial Don't bother
Competitive Species is fundamentally broken in its current build. Multiple users with high-end systems (RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 3090 Ti, Ryzen 5900X) report severe CPU spikes to 85–98% usage, crashes before reaching any content, and video-memory errors even on machines that handle AAA titles without issue. The core gameplay—chasing nude girls to initiate sex scenes—is barebones: no NPC AI, minimal animation detail, and opaque controls (players report button inputs doing nothing). One user who managed past the crashes described the interaction as simply "two magnets repulsing each other." For those able to launch it, the experience is shallow and technically unstable; for most, the game will not run at all.
