Editorial Meh
Collect and Corrupt is a lewd collection game with AI-generated character art and light puzzle mechanics. Its core loop—accumulating images and unlocking new characters through a grinding progression system—finds favor with players who enjoy the slow, meditative pace once the auto-clicker arrives; some praise the concept and want to see it expand (Marvel tie-ins, gallery access from menus). However, the game suffers from severe technical instability that makes it unplayable for a significant portion of users: a recurring 1×1 pixel resolution bug that persists across reinstalls and save deletions, bizarre multi-monitor behavior, UI scaling failures on ultrawide displays, and crashes on Android. Beyond the technical wreckage, the slide-puzzle minigames frustrate most who attempt them—a tight timer, poor UX explanation, and punishing reset mechanics make them feel more like obstacles than entertainment, with many asking for their removal or overhaul. The early progression also grinds hard before the auto-clicker unlocks, and the rarity algorithm reportedly locks players out of completing lower rarities once rarer tiers become available. For a completed release, the pattern of technical failure is too broad and too persistent to overlook.
