Caustic Murmurs is a yuri visual novel that has built genuine excitement among its fanbase for its art direction, character design, and willingness to explore sexuality beyond the "cute and tame" default. Players consistently praise the writing and visual polish, and the game has attracted Steam wishlists despite being in early access. However, the project is currently on hiatus, and the build suffers from real technical problems: Android crashes after the prologue/loading screens are widely reported, the web version breaks at later scenes, and Windows flagged the installer as a false-positive virus. The developer is aware of these issues but hasn't resolved them. If you can launch it, the creative work justifies the interest; if you're on mobile or hit the crashes, you won't finish it.
