Editorial Has potential
Campus Confidential is an early-stage visual novel about university life with polished visuals and an engaged developer. The writing and character design draw praise, though a few players find the cast unpleasant, and there's ongoing debate over character proportions that some find absurd. The real friction point is technical: save files break between versions, forcing players to restart to see new content, and a repeatable crash exists in the Red Zone when advancing time in the street view. These bugs are acknowledged and being addressed, but they significantly hamper the experience for anyone trying to follow a continuous playthrough. If you're willing to restart with each update and can tolerate a build still finding its footing, there's enough solid foundation here to watch; if save compatibility is essential to your enjoyment, wait for a more stable state.
