Editorial Has potential
Brothel Megacorporation is a completed business-management sim with genuine depth: multiple interconnected systems (training, stock trading, rival acquisition, mini-games, dating), a full story arc through marriage and children, and solid art. The core loop works—players report finishing the game and enjoying the strategic layer. However, the design suffers from severe clarity and balance problems. The UI is dated and confusing; what stats feed into profit is opaque, leading to dead-end strategies (training girls yields little return; stock manipulation trivializes the economy). The game lurches between too many ideas—tycoon, dating sim, deck-builder, mini-games, harem, pregnancy hints—without clear communication, so discovery is by trial and error. Grinding is heavy and repetitive, though cheats exist. Community feedback is split: enthusiasts praise the ambition and completion; others find the grind tedious, the systems poorly explained, and the mishmash of content frustrating. Late-stage lag is reported. For its niche audience (brothel-management fans), it's playable and substantial; for general players, the rough design and opacity make it a difficult sell.
