Editorial Has potential
Branded to Fall is an ambitious corruption RPG with dual protagonists bound by demonic branding, each facing their own moral crossroads. The writing is engaging and character-driven, with genuine dialogue and multiple branching paths—players praise the slow-burn corruption mechanics and the option to pursue pure, mixed, or fully corrupt routes without dismissing the "vanilla" path as an afterthought. The game is mid-development (currently at v0.5) with a solid foundation: exploration, a recollection room for replaying scenes, and clear plans for expanded free-roam and corruption storylines. However, the build is visibly unfinished—content ends abruptly (some character arcs stop at a single kiss scene), bugs crop up in day/night cycles and NPC dialogue triggers, animations occasionally flicker, and Mac/Linux builds are incomplete. The core experience is playable and engaging, but expect rough edges and expect to wait for the vision to fully materialize.
