Editorial Don't bother
Bow Down & Eyes Up is an incomplete dominance/teasing visual novel with severe creative and technical shortcomings. The core premise — listening to characters verbally dominate and tease the player — fails to land for most players, who report bland, machine-translated dialogue (mixing pronouns, stilted phrasing) that reads as tedious rather than erotic. The game consists of roughly 41 pre-drawn videos with no meaningful interactivity; players describe it as a passive video player masquerading as a game, and many found the censorship (baked into audio files) more frustrating than the thin content itself. Technically, it runs but only the first mode is complete; the advertised NTR and Red Light Green Light modes remain unreleased, the UI lacks basic features (fullscreen toggle, text skip, proper options), and translation is clearly automated across a bloated language menu. Community consensus is harsh: time wasted, disk space wasted, and little reason to return even for the promised uncensored version.
