Editorial Has potential
Blind is a bold, visually accomplished visual novel about a blind young man navigating family dynamics with a raw, gritty realism that sets it apart. The renders are consistently praised—characters look natural and authentic rather than idealized—and the premise, while dark, shows genuine creative ambition. However, the game has become a flashpoint over NTR content and narrative direction: the developer introduced sexual scenarios involving the mother and sister (with other men) after initially giving no indication this would be part of the game, and while some players embrace the direction as edgy and intentional, others feel misled. The community is sharply divided—supporters emphasize that the tag was present and the storytelling is mature; detractors argue the lack of upfront communication caused confusion, especially among paying patrons. An upcoming patch will add an option to skip the sister's gym scene, but the mother's backstory will likely remain. As a creative work, the game delivers strong character writing and compelling visuals; as a current build, it's playable but still early and rough, with reported bugs where player choices aren't reflected in dialogue.
