Blackmail Protocol is an early-stage sandbox about running surveillance drones to photograph targets and sell images for profit. The core concept appeals to players drawn to voyeurism themes, and some see genuine potential in the genre. However, the current demo is severely hampered by design and balance problems: the time/sales limit cuts play far too short (10–15 minutes), progression feels mathematically impossible (earning 0.09 BTC when 3–4.5 BTC is needed for next unlocks), bot battery depletes before meaningful photo harvests, and several key features don't work or are opaque (photo requests show 0 value, unclear how to trigger surveillance, missing tutorial or UI hints). The build also uses AI-generated images, which some players view as a step backward. Most feedback suggests the game has promise but needs substantial balance tuning, clearer onboarding, and a less punishing economy before it's worth extended play.
