Description
Bioasshard is a 3D survival-horror shooter developed in Unreal Engine 4, serving as an adult parody of the Resident Evil franchise. Set on a remote island, the player controls a captured protagonist who must escape while fighting off infected enemies. The game blends the action-oriented third-person shooter mechanics of Resident Evil 5 with puzzle-solving elements and exploration reminiscent of Resident Evil 2.
Core gameplay centers on combat against infected enemies that employ sexually-themed attacks called "sexttacks"—the primary effect of the virus afflicting the island's population. The player can engage enemies using firearms and melee weapons, with damage based on hit location. The game features RE5-style inventory management, an aiming system, climbing mechanics, and enemy AI that tracks and pursues the player. Progression includes weapon upgrades and item collection.
The current Arena release is a proof-of-concept and playground, not the full narrative game. The complete story is already written and takes place months after Resident Evil 5's events, focusing on escape and survival against experimental threats. The Arena provides a space to test core mechanics and features—currently containing 12 missions showcasing combat, puzzle systems, destructible environmental objects, and character customization options.
