Editorial Meh
Big Beautiful Women is a stat-grind dating sim with a giantess premise that fails to deliver on its core appeal. The writing and character work are decent—players consistently praise the cast and early storytelling—but the game fundamentally underuses its size-fetish premise, offering minimal actual giantess content and relegating it to a handful of early scenes and scattered CGs. The back half collapses under bloated stat requirements, tedious grinding, dead weekends with no available dates, and rushed endings that reduce climactic moments to black screens and single paragraphs. For a $20 release, the content-to-playtime ratio feels thin, and the lack of in-game feedback for complex multi-character endings makes them nearly impossible to reach without external guides or save manipulation. The game has shipped complete and runs stably, but its creative ambitions—eroge stat mechanics, romantic payoff, size-fetish content—all underperform, leaving players feeling cheated by what could have been.
