Editorial Meh
Beyond Her World presents an isekai premise with attractive artwork and a welcome emphasis on player choice — including the option to pursue a largely non-sexual narrative route. The early game shows promise, with mechanics like perk selection meaningfully affecting progression. However, the build suffers from significant design friction: puzzle clues are vague and poorly explained (a notorious password lock has confounded many players), drop rates are punishingly low, and grinding for quest items feels tedious. The developer is active and responsive to feedback, with updates in progress, but the current version frustrates more than it delights. If you enjoy experimental early-access isekai games and can tolerate rough puzzle design and resource grind, there is a foundation here worth revisiting in a few updates; otherwise, wait for the experience to mature.
