Editorial Meh
Become the King of Goblins is a strategy-adjacent adult game that leaves players with more frustration than satisfaction. The core tower-defense loop is widely criticized as unbalanced — your own troops stand idle under ranged fire, enemy units feel unfair, and the difficulty curve swings wildly — though at least one reviewer notes the imbalance actually favors the player once the arrow-and-shield meta clicks. The animation quality draws unfavorable comparisons, and the content is considered too short by those who do push through. On the build side, the situation is genuinely rough: the final battle is bugged for essentially everyone who reaches it, leaving the game effectively unfinishable. Players share saves just to see the ending, no fix or patch has appeared, and the developer seems unresponsive to the known issue. Combine a contested and underdeveloped design with a game-breaking endgame bug, and this one is hard to recommend in its current state.
