Editorial Meh
Bacatá of My Life is a slow-burn VN demo built around two character routes — one focused on a mother figure, one on a grandmother figure — with photo-realistic casting that players seem to appreciate. The writing and pacing are divisive: the developer openly acknowledges a high number of locked choices, framing them as intentional for this early stage, though at least one player found the lack of in-game signposting for locked-vs-future content frustrating. Beyond that specific complaint, feedback is too sparse and shallow to draw firm conclusions about the game's overall creative merits. As a demo, the build is clearly unfinished — several branching options are explicitly locked pending future updates, and the developer has signalled that two more days of content and a first full release are on the near-term roadmap. What exists is navigable, but players who dislike hitting walls early should wait for a more complete version.
