Editorial Has potential
Babel Zero presents an intriguing dystopian setting with strong worldbuilding inspired by Russian cyberpunk aesthetics, paired with appealing character art and an interesting premise that has genuinely impressed early players. The current build, however, is severely hampered by a widespread graphics rendering bug—multiple users report a black screen with only audio and text visible, a critical issue that makes the game unplayable for many despite the underlying creative merit. Beyond the technical wall, the project remains in prologue stage with active development but the developer's track record of unfinished games and recent slowdown in updates have raised legitimate concerns about completion. For those able to work around the graphics bug, there is a promising foundation here worth following; for most, the current state is too broken to recommend.
