Azonexyl-9 is an NTR/NTS visual novel built around an impotent MC and a straying wife, with a difficult-to-reach vanilla route also promised. On the creative side, early players find genuine strengths: sharp, witty writing (the terms-and-conditions gag earned real laughs), a polished and inventive UI including a phone-messaging interface, and well-crafted art — though some find the AI style too anime and one running joke about the lead female's absent nose became a minor community meme. The most substantive criticism of the work itself comes from two directions: a detailed reviewer argues that the early character writing makes nearly everyone — the MC, his friend, and his wife's friend Lila — difficult to root for, which undermines the stated goal of a meaningful happy route; and a separate reviewer, while praising execution, complains that grounding NTR in MC sexual dysfunction is an overused premise that kills novelty. Neither objection is universal, and fans of the genre's conventions will likely find the polished presentation worth their time. Development is currently on hold: the game's writer was hospitalized, the programmer (who posted an update) has disabled Patreon billing, and no timeline for resumption exists.
