Avelis Burger has earned solid appreciation for its core appeal: a cozy burger-shop gameplay loop centered on femboy characters with character art and animation done by hand. The community is genuinely invested in where the game goes next, and the developer is responsive to feedback on route design and character diversity. However, the current build has friction points that interrupt play. Text-skip is listed in options but absent in-game; crashes occur before major scenes; disabled standard Ren'Py navigation (backtrack, skip) frustrate returning players; and UI inconsistencies ("supermarket" vs. "store," a diner that looks like a food truck) create small but real confusion. AI-generated backgrounds are also a noted visual weak spot against the hand-drawn character work. Writing quality divides opinion—some find it charming, others feel it needs polish. None of this kills the game, but combined with the grinding burger minigame, it pushes some players away mid-playthrough.
