Ash and Velvet — First Chapter

Ash and Velvet is a dark fantasy adult visual novel following Serith, a proud and intelligent dark elf sent to the human surface to manipulate court politics for her noble house. Playing as Serith, you navigate a treacherous human court where every interaction carries a cost: access, protection, influence, and favors must all be bargained for, with each deal growing increasingly steep. The game emphasizes slow-burn corruption through choice and consequence—nothing is forced, but Serith's compromises accumulate as she remains outwardly composed while gradually losing agency. The narrative focuses on power dynamics, manipulation, and the erosion of control. Your choices shape how the court perceives Serith and determine which allies she relies upon, fundamentally affecting what she must pay and who holds leverage over her. The game features full voice acting, animated scenes with original music and sound design, and a "Record" system that documents her decisions and their actual outcomes. The game currently spans three chapters with Chapter 4 in development.
