Editorial Meh
Anime Redemption is a self-aware parody of Red Dead Redemption 2 dressed in anime clothing, and that's exactly what it sets out to be. Community consensus is sharply divided: roughly half the reviews are joking or earnest praise for its low price and easy achievement grinding (particularly the card drops that offset cost), while the other half dismiss it outright as a broken, content-starved shooter with a horse-riding minigame bolted on. The genuine criticisms are substantial—enemies spawn unfairly, hitboxes are unreliable, animations feel cheap, and achievement tracking is demonstrably buggy. That said, reviewers who engage with it as a throwaway parody report fun, and for €1 the math works. This is a niche novelty: amusing if you find the premise funny and want quick platinum, actively unpleasant if you expect actual game design.
