Alena Extra

Editorial Has potential

Alena Extra is a fetish-focused visual novel centered on foot worship, trampling, and femdom dynamics, where the protagonist Alena is progressively dominated by other female characters. Players consistently praise the creative character arcs—particularly the appeal of shy or submissive girls becoming dominant—and the developer's willingness to explore niche content that many adult games avoid. However, the current public build (0.8.8) lags significantly behind Patreon versions, with a scripting crash when accessing text-color options and unclear progression gates (players unsure whether scenes are locked or missing). The community is divided between enthusiastic fans defending the work and frustrated players requesting the latest content be made public; several reviews are feature requests rather than assessments, making the true consensus harder to gauge. The game's anime-style visuals divide opinion, with some praising them and others finding the rendering uncanny.
