Editorial Has potential
Adult Learner is a work-in-progress harem VN where the developer is actively learning the craft and taking player feedback seriously. The creative core—character writing, relationship dynamics, and story structure—shows genuine promise; players consistently praise the dev's responsiveness and the game's potential, and those invested in the twins and Sophie find real engagement there. However, the game remains rough around the edges: dialogue regularly overflows screen boundaries on some platforms, the sex scenes are brief and lack the looping variety some players want, and critical choice implementation is incomplete (notably, controversial scenes with character Mari cannot be meaningfully avoided despite a skip option, frustrating players who dislike her presence). Opinion splits sharply on Mari herself—some see her as valuable antagonistic tension, others view her as screen-time theft—but the technical and narrative flexibility to satisfy both camps simply isn't there yet. For a first game still catching up to its development timeline, the bones are solid; expect polish to improve, but know you're signing up for a rough, evolving experience.
