Actual Roommates

Editorial Worth it

Actual Roommates is a lesbian visual novel that has earned genuine affection from its community for strong storytelling, character depth, and respectful portrayal of queer relationships. Players consistently praise the writing, music, expressive character designs, and the wit of the humor—particularly the cat episode. The core experience delivers what fans of the genre value: substantial narrative alongside intimate scenes, with branching paths including a harem route and multiple endings that reward replays. The build is stable and complete; recent updates resolved platform availability issues, though some players report difficulty unlocking all gallery scenes without a guide. Minor criticisms touch on pacing (a few encounters feel rushed) and body-type uniformity in character design, but these do not substantially weaken the work. Community feedback is abundant and enthusiastic, with sequel anticipation already building.
