A Friendly Visit

Editorial Meh

A Friendly Visit is a father-returns-home incest/harem game in early development, currently offering only a short demo. The community is divided: some appreciate the premise and character models (particularly Sophie), while others have significant creative objections to the opening design. The most consistent criticism is the opening hooker scene—many players dislike sex workers as characters and feel a prostitute shouldn't be hotter than the main love interests, especially when the intended audience (vanilla/incest fans) prefer virgin heroines. The MC is also widely criticized for acting like a horny teenager rather than a mature father figure, undermining the premise. Character models are mixed; the ex-wife is seen as unappealing and poorly motivated as a love interest, while the daughters show more promise. Writing quality is passable but rough, with untranslated text and typos. The game is too short to judge its trajectory, but early design choices have alienated a portion of the core audience it's meant to serve.
