A Crown of Thorns

A cyberpunk visual novel set in a post-apocalyptic world blending the aesthetics of Sin City and Blade Runner. Based on the award-nominated feature film script "Blade n Blood," this is the first book of a trilogy set 25 years before the film's events. You play as Sebastian Luscious, a 20-year-old warrior and great-grandson of the founder of the Jerusalem Knights, trained since birth in combat. Sent to the neon-soaked City of Blood on a mission, Sebastian navigates a dangerous world of corporate megacorps, shadowy cults, and powerful factions all with their own agendas. The story follows his descent and corruption as he encounters figures ranging from a hypnotic pop star and her lover to ruthless corporate executives and mysterious warrior sisters. The game features a choice-driven narrative with explicit sexual content, drug use, and graphic violence. All sexual encounters are consensual. Thematically dark and uncompromising, it is not intended for players seeking lighthearted entertainment or those in vulnerable emotional states.
